Walk and Bike Month 2013 Boulder Colorado PDF E-mail

More than 50 free events throughout the month of June!

Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month began as a single day of bicycling events in 1977 and has grown to a month-long celebration now in its 37th year. Today, Walk and Bike Month is among the largest events of its kind in the nation.

A celebration of Boulder’s unique and nationally recognized bicycling and pedestrian culture, Walk & Bike Month includes a diverse list of more than 50 free events for adults and children alike, including mountain bike rides, social rides, talks, parties, hikes and much more.  Bike to Work Day on June 26 is the main event, with 51 breakfast stations around Boulder serving food and drink to the estimated 5,000 participants riding or walking to work.

Community Cycles coordinates activities and volunteers during the month.

June 28th - Clips Beer and Film Festival PDF E-mail

In its third fabulous year, Clips Beer & Film Tour is a beer-toting, film-traveling, nonprofit-benefiting show that's traveled to 18 cities coast-to-coast.

We took our love for beer and fans and put them together in this one-of-a-New-Belgium-kind event. You'll get to try our most esoteric beer offerings - up to 16 varieties on tap! - and pair them with inspiring short films created by fans. The best part is that 100% of the proceeds from beer sales benefit Community Cycles and its advocacy efforts

Fans of our Lips of Faith beers know these unique brews are not always easy to find. There will also be your favorite New Belgium classics and you can try them in 3oz samples, or a 12oz pour. Served up by our local beneficiary volunteers, there's plenty of beer fun to be had with our other traveling tricks and contests. Plus, local vendors will be serving food. When the darkness engulfs us, the films start rolling and you get to cozy up on your blanket or chairs and enjoy the show.

Be sure to buy a raffle ticket for the chance to win a New Belgium cruiser bike! You can purchase raffle tickets ahead of time online here, in person at the Community Cycles shop or the farmer's market, or day of the event until 9:30 p.m.

Volunteer for the Clips Beer and Film Tour.
